Actually most common motherboards come with 5 PCI slots. Check the motherboard link on that page. Look at either Pentium IV or Socket A (AMD) motherboards. The PCI slots are the white colored long things in the upper left corner of each board. On the MSI boards (red ones) they're in the lower left corner. Harder to see is the dark colored AGP slot next to the right most PCI slot.

The big computer makers get custom motherboards made with only 3 PCI slots to save money.
