No apologies needed BoP. As I said before, if enough people are having enough fun with it, then it should stay. I don't mind a sacrifice for the majority. That's what Democracy is all about. All I want is what is best for the community and if that is contrary to a few of my personal wants, then I will gladly defer.

Careful. Don't want to tip too much of our hand. Since we come from the same background, we apparently think alike, and I've got a lot of features in mind straight out of the BBS days. Taglines being one of them. I noticed one of the canned message board packages does include this feature.

Edit in: I've got a Who's On Now function, but we decided not to make that available for public consumption. But with it, I can see who's on, what they last did, and when they last did it. Kinda cool. There are lots of "privacy" reasons for not making it public, but even if that were not a consideration, it's just not as useful on a busy message board as it was on BBSes. Here, we'll typically have hundreds of people doing things in any 60-second span. On BBSes, you typically only had about 10 people at a time, if that.

PS. Nobody's said anything that I'm aware of, but we've apparently got a performance problem with the new version of board.asp when it's running against a really large board. I'm working on that right now.
