And pray tell, why would people turn to a teenager to develop "a major security system" for banking when these solutions require the expertise of entire teams of programmers? And what kind of tech is so flexible that it can cater to two entirely different sets of requirements in two different kind of worlds?

Implementing SSL on a website does not count as developing "major security systems". Do not let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise.
