I agree MB, except to steal the data you would have to know the domain password. Albeit there's a million tools to do it. I personally have to do it about once a month. I use a linux boot cd that allows me to change the hive passwd.
But I doubt the average thief would know about these tools.
I side with Micro TPM's aren't the whole story.

I made this point elsewhere and it applies exactly with your post. Not ALL notebooks that peopl;e carry contain personal information about others in a company. I know of several folks right now who carry notebooks from their company with ZERO Personal information of any kind in them.

What I see is a need for the Premium solution (Wavx/Seagate) combo in some instances and I also see scenarios where that is not necessary and so purchasing a different disk management suite of software may well work quite nicely with those.

I simply fail to see where we have the absolute must have application for every single notebook that is carried around by some company's employee.

I would be delighted if Wavx could get into a goodly percentage of them. I also think this market still needs time to evolve and become more widely known. I suppose only some additional time will tell.
