The gift of miracles

is the special ability that God gives to certain members of the Body of Christ to serve as human intermediaries through whom it pleases God to perform powerful acts that are perceived by observers to have altered the ordinary course of nature.

Thanks for sharing happydog. The Sun.before last I went to church and I noticed the man who had anointed me with oil, and who had prayed for my healing, when I was walking to my seat. I smiled and nodded at him. He smiled back. I know he started praying for me at that moment. I could feel the pain leave from me. I was almost pain free for the entire day and I know it was his prayers for me. The pain started coming back the next day though.

My cousin Sandra was a woman of enormous faith. She lived with cancer for 18 years. She was such a pillar of strength to me spiritually. I visited her church a few times and went to bible study there before I moved out of state. When she sang it was like an angel opened her wings in praise.

Reading about your sister reminds me of my dear cousin. She passed on a few years ago. But when she was first diagnosed they said if she makes it to her 5 year check up she's good. Five years came and the cancer spread. 18 years total fighting and never once losing faith. Even the day she died she made her morning calls to church members and neighbors in need of prayer. Always praying with and for everyone. God Bless her. After her morning calls she got up and collapsed and bled out. I think her liver tumor ruptured.

I can't get Rusty to go to Baltimore. But, I am going to take him to Friday night worship at Jesus Focus Ministries. They used to have calls for hands on healing at the end of the service.
