I urge you to take him. All that can happen is that he does not get healed. Not everyone does get healed. I believe everyone receives according to their faith.

I took a day off from work and fasted and prayed and read the Bible all day the day after I learned my sister had cancer. I went and laid hands on her and prayed for her. She said she felt something inside her when I did that. She soon had people all over the world praying for her. She lived 10 years with liver and pancreatic cancer and I sincerely believe she was healed a few months before she died, but did not have faith to keep it. She started proclaiming that she was hurting when she should have praised the Lord and told the devil to get lost. Anyway, her healing happened in her church. That is another story.

Anyway, when we first found out she had cancer, the doctors had done surgery and closed her back up without removing anything. It was so bad that the nurses told her that the doctor wept when he saw how bad it was. They wanted to send her home with morphine and gave her about six months at most to live, but she refused the morphine and lived 10 years after that. So yes, to me that was a miracle.
