Tryoty, yes, and Addax has known since Nov 05 that they would be a partner in JDZ... See paragraph below from ERHC website. So far, even though some on this board continue to pump that we're drilling in 4th qtr 2008, we don't know that....... Right now, the only thing we know is that if Addax doesn't cut a deal, we don't get Aban Abraham till June 2009......

Oh, and let's see, Addax knew Nov 2005 they would be ERHC's partner... So from Nov 2005 to June 2009 is 3.5 yrs till drilling..... I think Chevron made better time drilling OBO-1.

You really seem to be pumping ERHC these days........

On November 17, 2005, ERHC agreed to sell a participating interest in Block 4 of the JDZ to Addax Petroleum. This transaction was completed in February 2006.

Interesting and yes the exploration drilling in the JDZ has been anything but on a fast track ! I have often wondered why the drilling rights awards and the PSCs would not have had built in time frames within which the companies would be required to drill X number of holes or on default lose their rights ???
