I've seen conference calls on Friday's after-hours for both good and bad reasons.

The good reasons are that they want the news to travel over the weekend.

Bad reasons are they want to give people time to think about bad news before they make a decision to sell. Just my humble opinion, and listening to a lot conference calls. Val :-)
