Mokyo Toe, I am curious as to why you bother to post here.

You have indicated you do not own stock here, the only people on this board have now been in the play for several months, so they already know everything you seem to have a desire to point out and rehash. Nothing you have provided is news to us, in other words. So what are you attempting to do? Dissuade us from owning? not likely. Provide us new info? So far, you have not.

We all are well aware of the difficulties in generating interest in a start-up company. I've been involved with several myself. Called growing pains. We all are well aware, to at least if not more the level you are, of the mistakes the company has made.

So please tell us.......what is it you are attempting to do with your rhetorical posts? Instead of telling us repeatedly things we already know, tell us of your efforts to contact the company with your ideas of how things could be improved, and what their responses to you have been.

Mokyo Toe,

Perhaps you misjudged my enthusiasm. I am not entirely happy with the actions taken by the company, and I think my reasons are much the same as everyone else here.

To answer your questions, though:

1) Yes, I bought 3 copies of the album (1 for myself, 2 as gifts). I disagree that the lineup was weak. In fact, both of the CD's I gave as gifts were given a lot of praise by those who I gave them to. Although I, myself, am not a country music fan, there were a couple of tracks that appealed to me as well. Of course the album wasn't a blockbuster. We talked about that before it was released, and most people understood that going in. However, the album will be distributed for 3 years, and the company has already stated that they missed a deadline for this year to have the CD's widely distributed in department stores. I don't know what sales figures were, but it has been mentioned that Gene was happy with sales this season. Honestly, given what it is, that's good enough for me. Also, FWIW, the CD is currently sold out at barnesandnoble.com. I don't know what they had for inventory, but that at least tells me that the initial run did well there.

2) Jason Perkins - Of course he's unknown, he's a NEW artist! He's only been signed for two months, and he's already released his first single. I agree with Chevy that they should have PR'd this, but perhaps they have other plans. They are in the process of selecting material for his first album and it is supposed to be released this year. Logically, a tour should follow.

3) As an investor in this company, I find it particularly advantageous that they are putting their eggs in different baskets. Let's face it, the music industry is brutal, especially for a startup record company. Trust me, they are well aware that current attempts at thwarting piracy have been an utter failure. This is why they are so high on TriMark. If someone developed a system which could guarantee that music couldn't be pirated, don't you think the companies who are losing billions of dollars to piracy would come running to at least take a peek?

Obviously, we both have our own perceptions of this company. It certainly isn't the best investment choice, but then again, what is? I'm not here to try to persuade someone to buy or sell the stock. I just want to get all the information I can about the company I chose to invest in. There are some important questions that still need to be answered, but all in all, I believe the company has made some real progress since the quiet period last summer.

Mokyo Toe,

I presume you are a shareholder and not just here to slam the stock. I understand your discomfort from a day trader point of view as the stock is not favorable as a flipper.

I bought the CD and it is very well done. The packaging is very nice and the music is comparable to any of the other Christmas CD's on the market.

Have you bought the CD and listened to it? From your post it is apparent you haven't. I suggest giving it a try before slamming the stock as you seem to love doing. GLTY.
