I appreciate your enthusiasm for the stock you presumably hold, and I won't begrudge you that.

However, I have three thoughts for you or anyone else who is currently holding shares:

1. This Xmas album... Has anybody here even bought it? Are there sales figures for it? It didn't seem to register on anyone's radar during the Xmas season. The lineup on it was very weak; can't imagine too many people actually wanting it... To make any money, it would probably have to sell at least 20-50,000 copies. Did it?

2. Jason Perkins... Here we have a complete unknown. In the music biz, that isn't good. He released a "single" yesterday that is available precisely nowhere (if anyone can find a place to buy it -besides NSHV's site- let us all know). I checked a bunch of sites yesterday, and found nothing. How much money does a record company usually make from a single? 50 cents a unit or so? Sales of 100,000 (which would put it into the Top 40) is barely going to budge the bottom line. Where's the promotion? Is there an album announced? The guy is unknown; without an album, promotion, tour, retail outlets, the single is stillborn...

3. TriMark... Does this make ANY sense to you? I thought these guys were country music musicians and A&R types? What do they know about anti-piracy technology? Major labels are moving away from anti-piracy technology. iTunes and Amazon are now selling music without anti-piracy technology, because it doesn't work anyway. And these guys, about 5 years too late, are planning to earn .05 off every download with this technology that is old, unused, and unknown? Even though they have no expertise in the area (and barely any expertise in running a record company)? Come on! They bought the patent as an investment or something, and are waving it at you guys as if it were meaningful...

All of this from a company that has been a fairly obvious pump and dump scheme who gut busted for illegal trading, and whose stock is nearly worthless?

Is this really the best investment out there?

I promise I'll stop posting this stuff, because I know one of the mods doesn't like it. But I'm just baffled by the loyalty some shareholders are showing this turkey of a "company"...

...but it is your money, I guess. If you can afford to lose it, then I guess it doesn't matter.
