OT: Shao - I'd guess, you probably fished Kerr/Buggs Island, or maybe Gaston.

I am close (50 Mi) to Lake Anna, AKA the DEAD SEA! I usually fish the Potomac River though, where there are more fish, but smaller ones. This year was sort of slow on the river - hope things are normal again next year.

Never fished Smith Mountain, but it is known for the stripers, I think more than the black bass. Either one is fun to catch. I am planning a trip to Table Rock in Missouri around the end of April, if all goes well. Always liked that lake.

Ever fish the New River? Hear some good smallmouth tales about that one!

BTW just got back from a Travis Tritt show. That is one hard working entertainer. 2 hours non-stop show, and all him and his band - no opening act. He had the house rocking for sure.

If you like his brand of music (he calls it having one foot in traditional country, one foot in rock and roll) then by all means I would highly recommend his show. Not a boring minute in it!

shao,

I also fished another lake in Va., but I don't remember it's name. It was just off of I-81, not too far from Bluefield. Good luck ~ shao

Claytor Lake?

Have fun,
Phil
