Thanks Orangeman... Probably had too much eggnog cause I still don't get it. What gets accomplished by doing this ? In your example the bid is now higher and the ask in now lower. Did this raise the PPS ? Does this sort of thing happen on a large scale by stock manipulators? Would MMs be considered good or bad, or is the answer to that question.... it depends on wheather they want your particular stock to go up.
