Baghdad, Nil, and WD, thanks for the input. So the ballonets get air from the outside of the ship? The dark object located under the hull is ambient air intake? Hmm..

So by altering of the size of the ballonets from front to back (and maybe side to side) they change the displacement of helium in the ship to make SAS pitch and roll?

Not sure if my understanding is accurate.
