I think ethanol is still high in the politics of public opinion and national concensus, and coal hasn't escaped the stigma of Global Warming contributor (thank you, Sierra Club). What we needed here was real LEADERSHIP. That has not been shown with this group. These guys probably just wanted to keep their 'approval ratings' in the teens and away from the single digits until after the holidays ;).
