One of them is a way to speed up the security line at the airport.
"You would show them your smart card, your boarding pass and right now, a picture ID," said Daniel Mahlum, SRT Product Manager.
Then you would step into the secure registered traveler kiosk, where your shoes are scanned for explosives or metal weapons.
"It's similar to an MRI machine but without the imaging and without the use of a large magnet," Mahlum said.
He said his company is working with the TSA for approval on these machines. They're made by General Electric, owner of NBC and NBC 7/39.
