Sevnm...re DELLs "Worlds Most Secure Notebook" ad...THANKS for keeping the board updated! It appears that Dell is FINALLY getting serious about the marketing campaign. This ad will been seen by many INCLUDING the analysts for Dell and Seagate. I can just see a Dell analyst reading the above mentioned...."Hey this is great...Dell is going to make inroads into HPs current lead....maybe we should increase our quarterly numbers for Dell......but who the HECK is this Wave Systems....and WHY is DELL talking about them in a DELL ad???"
Take the above thoughts and apply them to the analysts following Seagate...and a wavoid could actually break into....."It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS...."
S&P sees more stable semiconductor pricing and inventories, notably sales of computers and lower-end servers, and favorable trends in storage hardware and software. One of the major trends we see for next year is continuing strength in PC-related revenues, reflecting major new hardware and software offerings, appealing pricing, and strong international demand, said Scott Kessler, head of technology equity research. We think enterprise spending growth will remain solid, aided by the continuing adoption of Microsoft's (MSFT) Vista operating system through 2008.

Svenm, the ad is definitely an eye grabber. You don't get much bolder and to the point than with "The Worlds Most Secure Notebook." Of course Wave Systems Management Solution was also mentioned in the ad.
There was a phone number to call Dell. I'm sure Dell is going to be getting lots of calls on this. It's good to see the begining of FDE going mainstream for Dell.
