Did you ask the TA if a cert was issued in your name?

One day after the shares were removed from my account at Schwab FedEx appeared at my door with my cert. Total time: 11 days (and it has my name on it!)

The lady from Scottrade just called me back ( and I was completely surprised at that one) and said that Scottrade received the certificate from the Transfer agent on the 10th of December and they in turn sent the certificate to me on the 11th via certified mail.

Let's see if this actually happens.
