GIBBER - I think we will agree that we will continue to disagree on this 1 point regarding Stocktiger. I understand your concern with the charting aspects of his recommendations. But I look at it from this perspective. Stocktiger has a 2 aspects to his business.
1)He runs a free website wherein he makes recommendations on multiple stocks. Some are winners, some are losers. Because the site is free I treat it as having the credibility of such. His focus on this site appears to be technical considerations, and he produces and explains his analysis. [I am very impressed with his analysis by the way and find it to be quite educational.]However, technical analysis does not always do well with pink sheet stocks because they are often manipulated. I noticed that each time he drew his support line, it appeared the stock was deliberately pushed below the line in order to scare the retail folks to dump their shares.I suspect ST, as well as Nucon mgt is a little naieve in regards as to how the chats are being used by the shorters in their efforts to scare folks.
2) He also "consults" for companies and helps to promote certain stocks. In this regard he educates potential investors on the activities of companies and their potential. He receives remuneration from the companies for this service - NNRI is one of his clients. [ I subscribe to multiple newsletters, including Dines and Aden Sisters, etc. None of them tell me if they have been compensated for their recommendations. But I assume that if they think it is a good buy, then they would also want part of the company and would buy also.]ST is not required to make a public disclosure. The company has already filed their agreement with ST with the SEC. So it has public disclosure. So it is up to interested investors to do their own due deligence with companies to understand company relationships.
I believe the real point you are addressing is whether or not ST is promoting the stock - just to promote - good or bad -or whether he truly believes in the company and promotes accordingly. I believe it is the latter. I think once he knew about the company and the potential, then he probably did what a good businessman does and approached the company and asked if they would like to be represented on his site. They agreed and compensated him. I happen to think he does an excellent job of keeping potential investors advised of the companies activities.
Keeping in mind this company is in a developing industry there is enormous complexity in what is being done to develop the company and the industry. Russia has stated that it wants to be the world leader in nuclear development and containment. ST is in the right place to understand what is going on and how to interpret the activities for potential investors.
In regards to you being dropped from his site, I don't know the full story but I believe he is trying to keep his site focused on an exchange of ideas - good or bad. As my father said, "It's not always what you say, it is how you say it." ST has warned folks he does not want his free message site to be treated like the Yahoo board. I respect that.
