Big Screen Entertainment Group Announces Federal Court Severely Reprimands Stuntman/Director BJ Davis:

Declares Davis Vexatious Litigant

December 11, 2007 -- Hollywood, CA -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC:BSEG) was handed a major victory in its ongoing litigation with stuntman and “Forget About It” director BJ “Bobby Joe” Davis. Due to his persistent abuse of the Federal Court system, as well as his repeated attacks on a sitting Federal Judge, Davis has been declared a “Vexatious Litigant” by the United States Federal Court.

State and Federal law prohibit litigants from engaging in persistent abuse of the legal system through “vexatious litigant” rules. These laws define a Vexatious Litigant as someone who “repeatedly files unmeritorious motions, pleadings, or other papers, conduct unnecessary discovery, or engages in other tactics that are frivolous
or solely intended to cause unnecessary delay.”

What is perhaps most extraordinary is that Vexatious Litigant motions are usually brought by the victim, such as BSEG in this case. Here, however, the Court found Davis’ motions to be so without merit that the Court moved to declare him vexatious on its own motion.

Indeed, Davis filed four motions to disqualify the Judge presiding over the case (plus a motion to reconsider one of the denials and two other motions in a separate, but related case), all based upon “unsubstantiated, groundless allegations,” according to the Order.

The Order further states: “It is the policy of the Court to discourage vexatious litigation and to provide persons who are subjected to vexatious litigation with security against the costs of defending such litigation and appropriate orders to control such litigation.”

“Having endured constant frivolous motions and abuse of the legal system, we are pleased that the Court declared Davis to be Vexatious,” stated BSEG President David Zappone. “It is something that we and our shareholders have known for some time.”

“Forget About It,” is scheduled to be released nationwide on January 8, 2008.

The film stars screen legends Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch, Charles Durning and Robert Loggia.
