Don't hold your breath waiting for anything conclusive from Microsoft. The best you can do is be aware of the TPM landscape (hardware and software), and read between the lines.

• What tools does the OEM provide to automate TPM management?

Investigate what management tools your OEM provides for managing the BIOS configuration of your computers. These tools should be comprehensive enough to manage the state of the TPM and the BIOS administrator password if required. Without these tools, several manual steps could be interjected into your automated build process.

Yes, the very first question directs the reader to investigate the TPM-management tools provided by the PC OEM. This from a 48-page document on planning an enterprise deployment of BitLocker published only a few months ago...
