A note on the Seagate/Wave/LSI triangle on Cooler's find

I had a communication with Lark some time ago about why Wave wasn't represented on the Key Management committee of TCG.

His response indicated that:
Key management for client and storage are not the same. Wave kept in close touch with the activities, but were not directly involved as the key management issues on the storage system were different than the client issues.

Walt Hubis of LSI is the chair of the TCG Key Management Services I've noted more recently that Wave now has a representative with this group.

I'm noting the above to avoid any assumptions about whether Wave is or will be providing product with LSI. At the same time, I believe, the triangle indicates just how significantly Wave's tools are embedded in this new network/client paradigm of identity/authentication.

It's taken two years of education, but I believe we are about to more from education only to education AND USE which is why I will enter 2008 confident that things are good!
