FWIW: CFC will perform better in anticipation of the upcoming cut than after the actual deed... If Tuesday brings only .25 cut, CFC will suffer dearly for at least that day..Going to take a .50 to allow it to hold what it gains between here and Monday...IMO

GM! I'm thinking that a move is definitely possible with a rate cut...

but how high is a gamble, depending on how deep the cut

Given the recent data, and feds numerous warnings re expectations, I think there's a chance we could see a smaller than expected cut

However, Wildbill is the main CFC trader here on this board, so I would run this by him as well

Will be watching closely, of course, like everyone else. It's the story the market is waiting for
