Trading will comence the same day as the name change, but people will not be able to sell until the brokers get the new EFFC shares from the TA. That takes about 3 business days. Some people may be able to sell their shares after calling their brokers, but this will not happen tomorrow. You will see your MCCY shares replaced with a marker (6 to 8 digit number - I do not remember exactly). Once the marker is replaced with the new ticker symbol you can start trading your shares.
The point is, over the next three days there will be little supply of EFFC shares. With strong buying pressure we will see a short squeeze. How high is high I do not know. Hopefully the company will come up with some great news to create a MOMO. Things get even more interesting if there is a short position. Then the shorties have three business days to cover their short positions.
GLTA!
