You can only hold off for so long before you need to start purchasing new equipment.

Like you said, that cycle has already started.

I'm in that same situation.
New technology is forcing me to up-grade or be left behind.

I skipped a "generation", so now it's time to ante up.

I have to tell you I had the feeling we aren't on the same page or haven't been, which you have clearly debunked for me now.

It is very unlikely that a recovery like this will be short lived. My sense that rates would have to stay VERY low seems accurate so far. I have overestimated the growth rates, but also overestimated inflation. This is much better, a slow drawn out recovery. It hurts my longer term stock model though because of demographics
