On 10/25 I had a transfer of funds that came in via a check to TDAmeritrade. They stated I would have to wait 6 business days for it to clear, because Deep Down was not a marginal stock (told by service rep it will not happen, you will not be able to buy, that is company policy). Long story short (after talking to management), they by passed their normal trading rules and let me buy stock in DPDW. I considered that a very good sign, if TDAmeritrade would allow me to buy a non marginal stock without my funds clearing. They did not have any trouble with this company being traded at all!
Yes, I'm still holding from my second level of buys on that day at 2.10, first few buys average .80. Long time holder and will continue to do so, as long as company keeps doing their part as they have!
