I spoke with ETrade rep last night, was told Etrade doesn't disclose why a security is placed on the on-line restriction list. However, with a little coaxing, he did give a few examples of why a stock might be placed on the list. I, my words only, believe ETrade felt someone was trying to manipulate the price. I also e-mailed them requesting the criteria they use for putting a stock on the restricted list
