I don't know dale1953, Pete could beat you from the baseline on a good day. He had that fabulous running forehand, an even with his backhand, he could hit winners from the baseline if he was really on. He was certainly quick on his feet...one of his more under-rated qualities IMO. I didn't know about the conditioning issue related to a hereditary medical condition. I will always think Pete was a bigger and better athlete than Roger. They are about the same stature physically...Pete just seems more imposing somehow.
