I agree they did overpay, however right now they have no options even if it is their own fault, this is because of what they did 4 and 5 years ago. They really had no choice at all. It will take time to fix what they created. There just is no other options out there that there this year.

i dont know Dew, i think posada is a real gamer and leads from the front with his clutch hitting and solid catching. personally i think posada is worth keeping, i have no idea what he is demanding for his services but one could build a solid team around him.


rivera is an old man, the rockies ought to step up and pay for his services, he would be devastating in the national league for a year or two. now bernie williams might still be able to make a comeback and giambi is worth every dollar the yankees can throw at him to sit on the bench.
