Hey pietro, I know all about Catapillar and Cummings. We are the sceond largest enging manufacturer of large engines in the world. Cat lost a customer? So what. They sell 50 huge engines a day, and just built a new plant to make more. Engine production can not keep up with demand. One customer or 100 is nothing to them. As far as engine temp, fuel economy, etc: these are all controled by computers in the engine, not by muffler. Cat engines meet the emisison standards: Check their sales in California. Oh by the way, Cat is #1 engine manufacturer in the world. Us #2, Cummings #3 or probably lower. Cummings is not as reliable as Cat. Ask anyone in the industry.
