i dont know depends on which series of engines your talking about. CAT has had many engines that were crap too. Ever heard of the 3116 CAT marine engine. Cant give them away no one wants them. but more importantly are people gonna want this technology?? I think not and there will be customer pushback. I know I heard there was a scramble to order trucks just prior to the new emission standards.

I know Cat was the most reliable...I have a 2006 C-7 it's great... I'm glad I don't own a 2007...lol

Cat had to put bigger radiators in the 2007 models....Hmmmmmm more heat to kill your engine, wait until the exhausts clog up and the cooling system overloads ! then engines start failing.

I dont see Cat using this system very long....Diesels are sutt riden engines, their design won't last IMO.

Man ore you kinding, most reliable. LOL, In my years as a shop Foreman, working a fleet of Freightliners that carry the CAT engine ##### I will not mention. There where nothing but problems atop problems with the multitude of sensors and EGR computer controlled system, and also the Huey Oil pump system and pressure supply through the first piping use to supply injectors, then the high pressure hose, both a failure and service fleet mans nightmare and a warranty service mans dream.

GO AERO / DR.GAS

"PEACE"

STILL BUYING.
