<It is the only explanation for their note and price target.>

If I recall correctly, R&R's price target was .50 near term and .30 12 months out.

I have no idea of their motivations, other than that they are in business to do deals. But so far the R&R share price projection has been (unfortunately) pretty good.

Thanks Neuro. I assume R+R's chief motivation would be the fee they'd collect for arranging the acquisition/merger, and perhaps some payback for Cortex shunning their last financing offer.

If R&R is working to bring the price of COR down to a firesale for an 'unknown' BP, and let's say it works, and COR ends up being acquired for $1 or less, wouldn't all of us COR followers have the inside info to make some serious $$ off of the BP that takes out COR on the cheap? Let's face it, COR is a POS in the mids of most folks.. They'll just scoff at the purchase of COR for a buck a share..

The acquiring BP would have this huge potential, would have bought it on the cheap, and, it will have the money to see AMPA's to fruition... That BP could be skyrocketing in the near future once they put their cash and manpower behind COR's IP..

I'm not saying this is the ideal route (I'd much rather see COR reach $2 and beyond on its own, or get bought out in the $2.50s), however, there is a sivler lining if someone comes in over the next 6 months and swoops COR on the cheap..

Even as a plan F, I think I'll still see a nice recovery to my COR losses... eventually ;)
