No. None at all. At least not for shareholders. Instead of R/S's, let the company buy back shares and put them in treasury, increase the profits and/or have management buy the shares privately themselves and retire them, while hanging on to enough shares for themselves to recoup their out of pocket expenses later, especially when the shares are so cheap, which is where they usually are when they conduct a R/S. For example, here, how many shares do you think management could take out of the market for 10 or 20 thousand dollars. They could hold a few million shares and get their cost and then some back down the road; while significantly reducing the O/S.
