Yes there are many patented parts of predictive text you can read the 51 pg. now Gov't Protected patent WL has and see how it is different - I'm sure this vagueness will be cleared up going forward

our law firm won $1 Billion from MSFT, just to drop one name

and

WL doesn't pay 1 cent till we collect

yes the long legal time frame may be a factor but smart compaines would want to DEAL a better settlement earlier rather then bear the full brunt of the infringent later on

You're basically saying Wordlogic owns the entire predictive text market.

No! I'm not saying that.

I'm saying they've got a patent..... and let the chips fall where they lay! The Patent litigation BUSINESS is a MULTI - BILLION dollar business.

WLGC may have it.. or they may not! (I believe they do!)
The lawyers or a judge will decide in good time.

Do you think the guys over at RIM thought they WOULD EVER loose to NTP! Not likely!
