mammon, my interpretation of the OEM comments?
I think it was in the context of why, given the estimated size of the opportunity, aren't they pursuing this space more aggressively. I think the "they" referred to the guys at the top, not the marketing guys Wave is working with.
The lost opportunity comment referred to a couple of deals Wave almost had. You could see the frustration on sks' face. I believe at least one of these would have resulted in hundreds of millions in sales.
The remark about the bankrupt company involved our discussion about Baltimore Technologies, PKI, and how their debacle will ultimately be a positive for trusted computing and the delivery of services.
PR's? Many still complain about the fluffy demo PR's. The last major PR had a subsequent investigation and eight lawsuits.
I've stated on this board the first half of 2004 will show strong news flow (and, NO, I didn't mean lawsuits). I think we'll see more TCG and OEM related stuff related to Wave, but not necessarily issued by Wave.
