Just for fun... remember that in 1959 a person could by 20 packs of M&M's for $1, a bottle of coke for 10 cents plus 2 cent deposit on the bottle, 2 tootse rolls for a penny, Hostess snow balls for 12 cents..... so those Dollars Stores must have been selling $10 - $20 values in those days LOL I think that Dollar Stores are the new 5&10 Cent Store like Woolworths but not as cool.
Agreed it can take a long time to get to $20 and they need to open up a lot of stores. Until then, $1 - $2 would be nice :-)
Even 10c to 20c would be nice :-)
