Problem is, Big Mur, that while us Longs are (at least to some extent) content with the present TA situation, a very large percentage of new/potential buyers aren't, and for the pps to seriously increase, there needs to be cause for new buyers to feel secure in their investment.
Most new buyers haven't had the privelege of knowing what we have learned over the last year, and one week of DD may still not be sufficient to make that decision to buy and hold.
