It was a nice letter but he won't respond to your specific inquiry about a specific company. That would be construed by his opponents as catering to some special interest rather than working for the public good. As for what he knows, you can be sure that successful national politicians keep in touch with the pols back home.

BTW, I sat down this evening with the text of Kentucky HB-1 (posted by Technoman, #12892) and read it again very carefully, line by line. If you haven't done so, I suggest you make the time as soon as possible. Not everything there applies to our company but around 2/3 of it does. The Center for Applied Energy Research at the University of Kentucky has the authority to pass judgment on the scientific and economic viability of our process. Once they do that and the state is satisfied it can get it's money back, the state makes an agreement to pay many of those post-construction tax incentives DURING construction. There are many other provisions there to clear away hurdles and speed up construction. It's dry as dust reading but I strongly urge anyone who owns this company or anyone who has twisted shorts to read it again. Kentucky is absolutely serious about this.
