I think that you were born at this very time in the entire span of history for a reason.
I know that God has given you the opportunity after becoming born again to.....TOUCH PEOPLES LIVES THAT *ONLY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO. =)
A mighty priveledge and humbling responsibility isnt it.

Thats why we need Him daily, to lead and guide us.
And yes, Peace inside is something that cannot be bought.

The Lord bless. =)

**I love the book of Psalms. Soo many soothing promises to his people.

"I figure -- what is there to lose by believing He IS TRUTH, like He claims in all the major translations of the Bible, and letting Him convince me He ISN'T if I wrong.

Afterall ... if He's REALLY Truth, He should be able to somehow impart peace to me about it, I would think, if I REALLY want to know.

What do you think? Am I blowing in the wind, or what? "

Did ya ever hear the one about the Rabbi, the Priest and the Pastor who got together for dinner on Sunday's....after all tthe donations had been collected. The Priest asked the Pastor how he divided the money. The pastor said, "Simple....I draw a line the ground....throw the money up in the air and what lands on the right side is god's and what lands on the left side is mine."

The Priest replied that his method was similar. "I draw a circle on the ground, throw the money up in the air and what lands inside the circle is God's and what lands out side is mine". He turned and asked the Rabbi.

A minute went by in silence when the Rabbi said, "Veeell, My method is something like yours......I throw the money up in the air and what God wants, God takes".

"and letting Him convince me He ISN'T if I wrong."

LOL...yep, you're blowing wind.

"I figure -- what is there to lose by believing He IS TRUTH"

(Please read this with a smile. I used to be one myself)

The odds makers......heh. Here's one of the problems with that line of thinking. When you think you know the answer, inquiry stops, doesn't it? If you bet on a loser, the winner may pass right by you, but you ain't lookin.
