Also known as Pascals wager, if Im not mistaken.
However....He simply- is using a logical/mathimatical deduction as to why to WANT to believe.
People do not fear a locked door with 10 dead bolts while inside their house, but once a fire breaks out...their pespective changes instantly.
Theses "DEAD bolts" suddenly become a deterant from what they were designed to do.
And so it is with the laws of GOD.
They were created to keep man holy and pure before Him. (Adam/Eve)
However, once a fire hazard started from within...the protection they once had was violated. Kinda like a fire insurance policy.
Mankind frauded God by being the arsonist (starter of their own undoing) and so....God in order to be righteous and fair had to nullify their policy and they were kicked out of house and home call it, INCLUDING HEAVEN.
***The difference between GOD and man?
GOD choose to make a NEW WAY/THE CROSS/rather the only way that is for mankind to be reinstated with not only fire insurance call it, but also GIVEN A NEW HOME. (not earthly though....yet).
