There was good reason no one wanted EKCS. My hunch the USAF "backlog" would begin to materialize was dead wrong.
I'm a little aggrivated to learn that they were counting "proposals" as backlog. I made the assumption "backlog" refered to "task orders awards". It's a little misleading to call proposals "backlog". My old company never did this...nor have I seen any other company refer to their proposal bank as "backlog". Unless those are "sole-source proposals", there's no way they should be refering to them as "backlog".
I'm still holding from $1.50 and will be calling to see if these are even "sole-source" proposals or if they're competitive proposals. EKCS looks like a very cheap security play now...but I'm starting to understand why.
