The last time I saw one this bad when it counted the homeplate ump FINALLY late in the game went out to his crew and admitted he was having a problem with his contacts and switched with the first base Ump and miracle of miracles....suddenly the strike zone was consistent.....it was a bit too late tho....
My complaint isn't about bad calls.....they happen.... it part of the human element of the game... we also see some amazing good calls.... it isn't about strike zones being different between umps....
it's about consistency no matter who's up and who's pitching.. side arm pitchers will have problems sometimes even when there's consistency just because their delivery is different and sometimes it can be hard for an ump to adjust to them...
I say let the games be fair, that's all. last night was a travesty......
