well, i have a new car and its got a standard old fuddy duddy steel muffler. my sisters gota 07 audi A6 and its got a steel muffler. My brothers 07 F250 hasa old steel muffler the sise of a bathtub........so not every new car or truck is stainless. the sports cars like Ferrari, Porsche, corvettes and the the like have stainless.........but alot of people still change out mufflers on those cars too becausethey want lighter and louder.
I have an 03 forerunner and had to replace the exhaust, I would have put an aero on if I knew about them at the time. Also, you have the fuel saving aspect with the mufflers, possible oem.
