Good thing I read the 8-K then, because before, I was saying that most new car buyers would sell a car before the muffler needed replacing, leaving a buying decision up to people who buy used vehicles to make that choice upon a breakdown of the existing muffler.

However the revelation that stainless has taken over OEM mufflers and thus the exhaust system is good for the life of the vehicle gives it a whole new twist huh?

If the existing muffler is stainless and last the life of the vehicle, it gives no bonus to the fact that the Aero muffler is stainless and last the life of the vehicle.

Also the "turbine effect" does not kick in at idle, but at higher RPM's, making the muffler noisier when you are just sitting there.

I guess it all goes back to "Know what you own."
