#2009 RE: Bird of Prey #2006

Where is it that she 'recommends selling'? - i don't see it ... she does mention that 'If I had a ton of shares, I'd take this opportunity to get out.' ... fair comment, what's wrong with that? ... i don't know the company but it's entirely possible that if one day i found on the sidewalk enough of its paper to cover commission, i'd sell 'em too, who knows, but only after checking into the story ... and in that checking the comment of one poster is never going to figure hugely ... any stock that can be as badly hurt by her comments as you suggest cannot imho have much in the way of fundamentals going for it

Somehow your analogy of 'the CEO's second cousin twice removed getting sued way back' doesn't appear credible ... perhaps you'd like to back it up with an example? ... see, i don't really know mmmary, i've just seen a few of her posts here and on Jeff's lawsuit thread on SI .... based on those, this is an entirely rational person out for a little sport playing internet, imho

There is good reason why the itinerant bubble-prickers show up after the p&d spikes - it's because the promotion before that point is not visible enough to notice ... anyway, lots of the distribution takes place following the dramatic spike, likely the majority - thinking back to the mtei thing, its SI thread didn't really take off until after the price had peaked, and here were all these hopeful newbies 'buying the dip' ... and calling their certs, lol ... one guy actually posted 'it's ten o'clock, do you know where your mtei shares are? ... funny, but sickening really .... insiders knew full well what a scam it was, and they could print paper at will, so it didn't much matter to them what was the unit price du jour, as long as there was any bid at all they just kept cranking it out
