How exactly would you execute "getting out"?

Besides you miss the point entirely.

I don't care that she has a negative opinion about a stock. She is absolutely correct about the negative effects of toxic financing. And she is correct to present evidence that a company officer could be untrustworthy.
But that isn't what she does. She takes accusations and suppositions and presents them as ironclad irrefutable fact. And when someone points that out she attacks them visciosly and continuously, often to the point of driving them off. Which is where many develop a problem with her, because it is equally as bad to drive off honest positive users as it is to drive off honest negative users.
You obviously feel she needs defending, If you had read more than a >>"few of her posts here and on Jeff's lawsuit thread on SI"<< you would know that she can dish it out quite well without aid.
Additionally, If you were aware of her pattern you would know that she is not picking on P&D spikes. Most of her focus has been on companies that have been on a downward spiral for a year or more. As an example ASTN peaked at $15 almost three YEARS before she began tattooing it's shareholders for owning it at $1.15.
Anyone with sense knows that the market is rife with shysters and that one must be careful where one puts ones money.
What makes matters the most sickening here is that MMMARY has shown that she can present her evidence in the proper way, when she wants to, complete with third party sources linked and no embellishment or exaggeration on her part. Unfortunately her preferred MO is to bait the longs with a real piece of evidence layered with her "opinion" and then to exchange in namecalling until admin has to step in and clean things up. Eventually, people who once were willing to put in some extra time to help further the disemination of information about a company grow tried of having to put up with her tactics and leave. Then she gloats over her "victory".
When no one is left but her she moves on to the next one.

This is just a suggestion, but next time you want to throw your "support" behind an individual...at least have the courtesy to have read enough of their work to understand what they do.
