Is that Alaska the state or Alaska the airline? Gotta keep things in their proper context to avoid confusing some folks here, y' know.

"he indicated that there is no commitment on the part of APS or Alaska Airlines..."

Sounds like Robert affirmed my understanding that there is no specific additional purchase commitment in the agreement between APS and Alaska Airlines (which APS said "allows" Alaska Airlines to purchase "as many as" 6,000 additional units).

If there is no specific commitment, then yesterday's PR and statement of expecting "several million dollars" in revenue are very misleading.

Given all of the trouble Wave Systems is in due to misleading PRs that even the press misinterpreted, one would expect e.Digital to be more careful.

Well clearly Robert just isn't up to speed on these things.

Tinroad: I was speaking with Robert recently...
and he indicated that e.Digital's revenue guidance is based upon their interpretation of Alaska's interest going forward. Needless to say they (EDIG) are quite optimistic as well as myself.
In my questioning the wording of the press release, though, he indicated that there is no commitment on the part of APS or Alaska Airlines. Therefore, if the orders ceased to come in e.Digital would lower their guidance accordingly.

This simply can not be correct, Tinroad has shown us ironclad evidence from his interpretation of a article in the Tacoma News Tribune that there is a commitment. Now for Robert to state that there is no commitment means, now get this, that Robert is saying Cassie was right and Tinroad was wrong.

Tinroad posted like three different times to Cassie with proof positive that there is a commitment, maybe he should forward those post to Robert to help him understand the agreement.
