I'm not sure it has. If you go back and read their various satements, they clearly refer to the back-end formulation of various fuel types, not just ethanol.

i understand what you are saying, and your point of view is coherent, but I see it a bit differently. Until a few months ago ethanol was in everyone's spotlight, partly because of its historic success in Brazil, partly because it seemed to be a fuel much favored by a large number of politicians, and partly because the advantages of the best biofuels over ethanol were less well known and understood, even to the scientific community.

IMO, management of the two companies has clarified its strategies and has a more focused idea of where it is going. I wouldn't exclude further announcements soon. Development has been too slow for everyone's liking, but I do see the next 3-4 months as offering great opportunities. In particular, Kentucky could offer an authentic breakthrough.

As noted by other posters, the new-found openness of Jack Young bodes well for future developments.
