Use of the word cash may have been an error. Perhaps it would have been better stated that further accrual of debt will be abated, stemming increased liabilities to the balance sheet, which will improve the financial condition of GTEM compared with what it would otherwise have been.

I would think that GTEM is talking about the rent drain going forward from here.

Of course, they cannot get around it. The "drain" from the back rent owed will have to be paid, not withstanding a chapter 7/11 announcment.
