WilliamFL, I find it interesting how the email exchange between Helmut and Joe indicates that the BOD wanted to perform plenty of DD on Joe (and others) and there was concern about being cleared of issues with Centerline before Helmut would throw his hat into the ring for him. Good for Alice and the BOD if that is the case. Maybe Kostro jumped the gun in his appointment of Joe to the CEO spot without realizing that the BOD needed a say in the matter?
In a previous post, Joe indicated that Helmut may be a funding source, but then another post questions why Helmut needs to endorse him? Well if Helmut is supplying major funding, I would think that gives him every right to voice an opinion. But, I am not sure of the allegations of Helmut buying shares as an insider - if it is true and what the concern or fallout might be.
