But thats not an argument those are merely feelings. You could have summed it up with. "I don't feel that way" rather than making up a number about trillions it has cost us that could have be used on imaginary unspecified inventions.
That doesn't evnn get into the fact that if we were subsidizing trillions rather than billions in alternative energy it would have sucked even more money out of the economy that was actually spent in R&D to develop products we are using today.
Who knows how much worse off we would be today had we flushed even more money down the toliet for more of these alternative energy schemes whose time had not yet come.
I know you disagree but why get into an argument if you don't want to argue the point? I know I am provocative but I can't be that provacative.
